Deposit limits: how to set them
At an operator with a Swedish licence you cannot play without first setting a deposit limit. That is a requirement of the Gambling Act, not something the operator chooses. The limit decides how much money you can deposit per day, week and month.
Three limits at once
At registration you set a limit for each period: day, week and month. All three apply at the same time. If you have set SEK 500 per day and SEK 2,000 per month, deposits stop when either limit is reached. The limit applies to deposits, not stakes. Money already in the account can be played.
Lowering is immediate, raising takes time
A decrease takes effect immediately. An increase takes effect only after a waiting period, usually 72 hours. The waiting period is there so that a decision to play for more cannot be made in the heat of the moment.
Time limit
Operators must also offer a limit on login time per day, week and month, and show you how long you have been logged in. Unlike the deposit limit, the time limit is optional.
What the limit does not do
